January in Review!

Yes, I've been a slacker lately with the blog. I promise to get back on track for February. Just so you don't think you missed anything, here's what we did in January.

Of course, the minute our plane touched down back in Belgium, the coldest few weeks of the year hit Belgium. I think the high was 20ish....record lows for Belgium. Anytime we went out we all were bundled up.

Soon after we got back to Belgium, Alexis realized she could pull herself up. We quickly found the instruction manual and lowered her crib. She can still pull up...just not fall out!

We went out on New Year's Eve and enjoyed a Belgian Waffle.

THE BLACK FOREST IN BADEN-BADEN, GERMANY

Shannon and Josh were in Switzerland over MLK weekend and we had planned to meet up with them. All of us had wanted to see the Black Forest so we met up Saturday morning and spent the weekend touring around.

Alexis high-fiving Uncle Josh. She learned to wave a while back and now waves at anyone and everyone and expects them to wave back. Scott taught her the high-fiving thing and she likes that too.

We brought out the pots and pans to bang on.
